A year at our school

Senior Girls Knock Out Soccer Team

Our Senior Girls Netball team reached the semi-finals in the NSWPSSA-Sydney South West/Sydney West Netball Knockout Competition, a huge accomplishment! Their progression to the semi-finals is a testament to their consistent effort, skill development, and teamwork on the court. Congratulations to all the girls for their outstanding performance this season.

Tournament of Minds

Each year, we have teams of students compete in the Tournament of the Minds, providing students with opportunities to collaborate and find creative solutions to open-ended problems. Participants develop skills like teamwork, time management, creativity, and resilience by solving challenges in disciplines such as The Arts, STEM, Language and Literature, and Social Sciences.

Rainbow Rush

Our P&C in collaboration with the school organise and run incredibly fun fundraising events like the ‘Rainbow Rush.’ This colourful, fun filled event had the students walking, laughing, getting wet and splashed in colour while helping raise funds for the school.

Ellison Public School is a wonderful place for our children. They feel safe, valued, and inspired every day to be their best. They take pride in being part of a supportive and encouraging community, and they love the opportunities to learn, explore, and grow.

Our son joined Ellison PS nearly six years ago and our daughter commenced 2 years ago. After moving from the city, joining the Ellison community has been one of the best decisions for our family. Both of our children thrive here thanks to the dedicated staff, fantastic initiatives and the wide range of opportunities offered. The strong sense of community and the long lasting friendships forged at Ellison have made our transition to mountain life truly special.

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Ellison Public School. From the very first day, we have felt welcomed and supported and it's been wonderful to see our child thrive. The teachers go above and beyond, providing engaging opportunities to learn, develop skills and build confidence. They genuinely care about each student's growth and wellbeing. We're so grateful to be part of the school community at Ellison.
